ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The Deputy Director, Town and Country Planning, Villupuram is impleaded as respondent No.6 and the memo of parties be amended accordingly.

2. The allegation is that respondent Nos.4 and 5 have done private plotting of lands and are selling the lands without there being any approved layout. In the aforesaid context, a restraint is sought against the first three respondents from registering any such plots.

3. We are of the view that respondent No.6 should cause an enquiry as to whether any layout plan was applied for or not and the fate thereof. Such an enquiry be completed within a period of one month of the receipt of this order.

4. If there is no approved layout plan of the area, then intimation be sent by respondent No.6 to the first three respondents and respondent No.1 would issue necessary direction to ensure that no registration takes place qua the plots of any such unauthorised layout by respondent No.3.

5. The writ petition, accordingly, stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, M.P.No.1 of 2013 is closed. -s/d- Assistant Registrar True Copy Sub-Assistant Registrar bbr
