ORDER
(Made by HULUVADI G.RAMESH, J.) The case of the petitioner is that she is a physically challenged person left with residual service of only 13 months in the respondent-Railways. She filed an application before the Central Administrative Tribunal, Madras Bench praying to set aside the order dated 07.10.2016 in No.90/2016 passed by the Dy.CMM/GSD/PER regarding selection for promotion of matriculates Group 'D' employees and also for a direction to adhere to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
order passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in W.P.(Civil) No.521/2008 (Rajeev Kumar Gupta and others v. Union of India and others), contending that reservation should be given for persons with disability 3% in identified post irrespective of the mode of recruitment. Now the present writ petition has been filed to direct the Tribunal for expeditious disposal of the said original application.
2.Mr.P.T.Ramkumar, learned counsel, took notice for the respondents 2 and 3.
3.Considering the limited prayer as sought for by the petitioner and also considering the facts and circumstances of the case, we deem it fit to direct the Central Administrative Tribunal, Madras Bench to dispose of the original application in O.A.No.1879 of 2016, pending on its file, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
