ORDER
The writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to pay the compensation for the land situated in S.No.386/2A, Medavakkam Village, that has been acquired under Section 15(1) of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act 2001, for the purpose of construction of Grade Separator connecting Medavakkam Sholinganallur Road Junction, Medavakkam Mambakkam Road Junction, Mount Medavakkam Road Junction, in Marmalong Irumbuliyur Road, as determined under Award No.8 of 2021, dated 31.03.2021, passed by the 1st respondent, to the petitioner or in the alternative, deposit the same with a competent Court in a time bound manner.
2. Heard and perused the records.
3. It seen from the Additional Typed Set filed by the Government that already, the Special District Revenue Officer, Kancheepuram, vide his proceedings No.12222/2022/A4 dated 05.10.2023, has directed to pay the compensation amount of Rs.21,91,79,294/- to the petitioner through ECS. 2/5
4. Since already there is an order passed by the Special District Revenue Officer, Kancheepuram, to pay the compensation amount of Rs.21,91,79,294/- to the petitioner through ECS, the respondents are directed to comply with the order of the Special District Revenue Officer, Kancheepuram, in proceedings No.12222/2022/A4 dated 05.10.2023, within fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to the costs.
