4. It is the case of the petitioner that the properties comprised in Old Survey Nos.465/2 and 464/3 and New Survey Nos.331/2A, 331/2B, 330/3A1, 330/3A2, 330/3A3, 330/3A4 and 330/3B situated at Perambalur North Village are ancestral properties belonging to petitioner's family. During the UDR process, patta in respect of subject properties were mistakenly registered in other names, therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents on 22.05.2025 seeking correction in the pattas with respect to the subject properties, however the same has not been considered till date. Hence, this writ petition.

5. It was suggested that there could be a direction to the 2nd respondent to dispose of the representation in accordance with law, after putting the respondents 4 and 5 on notice within the time frame to be fixed by this Court. Learned counsel appearing for respondents 4 and 5, does not have any serious objection to the same.

6. In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the appropriate respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on its own merits, pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after putting the petitioner, respondents 4 and 5 on notice and after affording reasonable 3/6

opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, respondents 4, 5 and any other interested persons/stake holders, including rival claimants, if any, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of uploading of web copy without waiting for receipt of certified copy. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the representation and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the representation on its own merits and in accordance with law. No costs.
