This Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to rectify revenue records maintained in respect of S.Nos.48/34, 48/14, 48/17, 48/18, 48/32, 48/30 and 48/28 in Kesavanarayanapuram Village, Kurinjipadi Taluk, Cuddalore District by showing them as a pathway.

ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to rectify revenue records maintained in respect of S.Nos.48/34, 48/14, 48/17, 48/18, 48/32, 48/30 and 48/28 in Kesavanarayanapuram Village, Kurinjipadi Taluk, Cuddalore District by showing them as a pathway.
2. According to the petitioner, he made a representation on 24.09.2014 to the revenue officials to rectify https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
the revenue records and make an entry in the records as pathway. Since the said representation has not been considered by the respondents till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition before this Court.
3. The learned Special Government Pleader would submit that the respondents 1 and 2 will consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.09.2014.
4. It is seen that the writ petition is of the year 2014. Though several opportunities were given to the respondents to file their counter, no counter has been filed so far.
5. Considering the submissions made, without expressing any opinion and without going into merits of the case, this Court is inclined to direct the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.09.2014 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, also after providing due opportunity to the third respondent, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of twelve weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to say that, the petitioner has to furnish a copy of his representation dated 24.09.2014 along with a copy of this order to the respondents 1 and 2, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
6. With the above directions, the present writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
