ORDER

With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondents to survey the land of the petitioner and fixing metes and bounds and file a report by passing Orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 22.02.2024.

3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

4. The case of the petitioner is that the he is residing in Plot No.6, Punjai Kala Mangalam, Modakurichi Taluk, Erode District in respect of Survey No.545/4 for the past 10 years and the said land has been allotted to the petitioner by the Government and free patta has also been issued to the petitioner on 26.09.2012. The grievance of the petitioner is that though he has given a representation to survey her land, the same has not been considered by the respondents till date. Hence, the present Writ Petition. 2/4

5. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.02.2024 and pass appropriate orders on the same, after giving notice to the neighbouring land owners and any other interested persons within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
