O R D E R

This petition is filed to extend the time for executing the sureties made in Crl.OP.No.8356 of 2025 dated 21.03.2025 in connection with Crime No.216 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a College Student, due to semester exams, the petitioner is unable to comply with the order and also not executed the sureties. Further, one of the conditions that the petitioner should appear before the respondent police every day at 10.30 a.m., for a period of two weeks will greatly affect his studies.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case that the petitioner is a college student and his appearance before the respondent for a period of two weeks would affect his studies, this court is inclined to modify the the condition 6(b) imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.8356 of 2025. Accordingly the condition 6(b) imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.8356 of 2025 is modified to the effect that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent as and when required.

5. In view of the above, the condition is modified and this petition is ordered, further two weeks time is extended to the petitioner to execute the sureties as ordered by this Court, from the date on which the present order copy made ready.
