ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct 2nd respondent police not to harass the petitioner and compel him to sell his Agricultural land measuring an extent of 1 acres 85 cents bearing Old Survey No. 505/13 and 409/1 situate at Mannur Village Marakkanam Sub-Division, Tindivanam Taluk, Villupuram District.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. On a complaint given by one Kalidoss, petition enquiry is pending. Under such circumstances, blanket order of 'not to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

harass' cannot be passed. The petitioner shall co-operate for the enquiry and during the course of enquiry, he shall not be harassed. However, if any cognizable offence is made out, this order would not be a shield against the arrest of the accused. With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
