This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the F.I.R. in Crime No.98 of 2022 registered on 16.03.2022 on the file of the respondent1/4
Police.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the case is purely civil in nature regarding usage of pathway and a false complaint has been given against the petitioner, and as a counter-blast, complaint has been given by the petitioner against the de-facto complainant Sivanraj and his wife Devika, which came to be registered by the Inspector of Police in C.S.R.No.213 of 2022 on 16.03.2022. The learned counsel for the petitioner further states that the FIR filed against the petitioner is liable to be quashed, since the dispute is purely civil in nature.
3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the State submits that on completion of investigation, final report was filed through e-filing on 22.08.2024 in E-filing No.LTN20220002071C202400300 before the District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Vanur, Villupuram District.

However, this Court does not find any material to show as to whether the final report contains the complaint given by the petitioner herein against the de-facto complainant and his wife. In any event, having 2/4
filed the final report, the petitioner herein is given liberty to challenge the final report, if he is so advised.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected Crl.M.P.No.10793 of 2024 is closed.
