O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.10.2015 and direct the second respondent to pay the arrears of subsistence allowance and dearness allowance due for the period from January 2015 to February 2016 and continue to pay the subsistence allowance for the subsequent months till the revocation of the suspension order passed by the first respondent.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader for the 2nd respondent reported that the writ petitioner is no more. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner is unable to confirm the same.

3. According to the submissions of the learned Additional Government Pleader for the 2nd respondent and also in view of the limited scope of the prayer sought for in the writ petition being only for considering the 2/4

petitioner's representation dated 12.10.2015, this Court feels that there is no purpose to keep the writ petition alive.

4. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach this Court in the event of any prejudice would be caused to the writ petitioner.
