Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, call for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the 5th respondent made in Proceedings in Na.Ka.No.5831/2023/A2 dated 10.02.2023, quash the same and consequently direct the respondents 1 to 8 not to issue any quarry permission to the 9th Respondent in S.F.No.687 to an extent on 2.63.30 Hectares land in Puravipalayam village, Pollachi Taluk, Coimbatore District.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to call for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the 5th respondent made in Proceedings in Na.Ka.No.5831/2023/A2 dated 10.02.2023, quash the same and consequently direct the respondents 1 to 8 not to issue any quarry permission to the 9th Respondent in S.F.No.687 to an extent on 2.63.30 Hectares land in Puravipalayam village, Pollachi Taluk, Coimbatore District.

2.Mr.C.Kathiravan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 7.

3.Mr.R.Neethi Perumal, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the eighth respondent.

4.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 7 made a statement on instructions that the petitioner's request for quarrying in S.F.NO.687 of Puravipalayam Village, Pollachi Taluk, Coimbatore District has been rejected.

5.In view of this development, nothing survives for consideration in the Writ petition and accordingly, it is closed. No costs.
