This petition was filed by the petitioner to direct the second respondent to intimate the marks obtained by him and cut-off mark fixed for the Backward Class categories, and select him for the post of Maternal and Child Health Officer.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the second respondent submitted that the petitioner was not selected for the post of Maternal and Child Health Officer, since he has not secured the minimum cut-off marks. For the above said https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

post, the cut-off mark is fixed as 298.50, while he has secured only 241.50 marks. Therefore, since the petitioner is not entitled to be appointed in the said post, the learned counsel prayed for dismissal of this Petition.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Writ Petition shall be disposed of by recording the submissions of the learned counsel for the second respondent.

4. Therefore, it is clear that the petitioner is not entitled to be appointed in the post of Maternal and Child Health Officer. By recording the submissions of the learned counsel for the second respondent, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
