ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 3rd and 4th respondents to consider the petitioners' online applications dated 19.12.2023 and 17.04.2026.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submit that the petitioners are husband and wife. They submitted online applications dated 19.12.2023 and 17.04.2026 to measure their property comprising in Survey Nos.262/1A, 270/3, and 273/2, situated at Alukkuli "B" Village, Gobichettipalayam Taluk, Erode District. However, the said applications have not been considered till date. Hence, this writ petition.
3. Mr.B.Pachaiyappan, learned Government's Counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4 and submitted that the petitioners' applications dated 19.12.2023 and 17.04.2026 will be considered within a period of eight weeks.
4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
5. Considering the limited relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondents 3 and 4 to consider the petitioners' online applications dated 19.12.2023 and 17.04.2026 and carry out a survey and complete the process, after giving prior notice to the petitioners as well as respondents 5 and 6 and other aggrieved parties, if any, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. It is made clear that this order is passed only for the purpose of issuing a direction to the official respondents to conduct a survey and lay boundary stones at the subject land. In the event any dispute arises regarding the possession of the subject property, the same has to be decided by way of filing a suit before the competent Civil Court.
7. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
