Prayer : Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to direct the respondents to constitute an Enquiry Commission under 152 if police standing order to hold enquiry in to the circumstances leading to the incident dated 22.02.2016 at 5.00 p.m. at District Court premises, Salem implicating the petitioner falsely into the case in Crime No.74 of 2016 and Crime No.75 of 2016 on the file of Inspector of Police, Hasthampatti Police Station.

The writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to constitute an Enquiry Commission and to hold enquiry leading to the incident, dated 22.02.2016 at 5.00 p.m. at District Court premises, Salem implicating the petitioner falsely into the case in Crime No.74 of 2016 and Crime No.75 of 2016 on the file of Inspector of Police, Hasthampatti Police Station.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials placed on record.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation for the aforesaid Crimes have been completed in PRC No.30 of 2017 and the petitioner was arrayed as A16 before the learned Judicial Magistrate concerned.

4. Recording the said submission, the prayer sought for in this writ petition cannot be granted. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition also closed.
