ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 26.06.2021.

According to the petitioner, the property measuring to an extent of 5 acres and 74 cents comprised in Survey Nos.3/2, 268/4A, 3/5, 199/4B, 199/7B2, 206/2, 268/5, 268/3, 268/4C, Patta No.73 situated at Thiruvanamalai District, Seiyaru Registrar District, Thellar Sub-Registrar Office, Vandavasi Taluk, Nelliyankulam Village, was purchased by way of a Will executed by his grandfather in the year 2020, which was later rectified and registered as Document No.34 of 2021 with Thellar SubRegistrar Office and he is in absolute possession and enjoyment
of the property from the date of execution of the said Will. Thereafter, he applied through online an Appln.
No.2021/01/03/06/207844 for transferring the Patta in his name, but the same was rejected by the second respondentb without giving any proper reason. Hence, he sent a representation dated 26.06.2021 to the respondents 1 & 2 to enquire the reason for rejection earlier online Appln.No.2021/01/03/06//207844 and the same was acknowledged by the first respondent on 15.07.2021 and the same was forwarded to the 2nd respondent to take appropriate action on the representation of the petitioner, till date, no action has been taken by the respondents. Therefore, he has come forward with the present writ petition.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner will be satisfied if a direction is issued to the respondents to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 26.06.2021.

Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer that is now sought for in this writ petition before this Court and taking into account the submissions made on either side, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation or the case pleaded by the petitioner in the present writ petition, the Writ Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.06.2021 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity to the petitioner within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
