Tamil Nadu Protection of Tanks and Eviction of Encroachment Act, 2007 and Tamil Nadu Encroachment Act.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have perused the affidavit filed by the second respondent. We are satisfied that at last, action against encroachments has been taken. Some actions have been completed, while other actions are in progress.

2.We are thus of the view that the only direction that is to be made is for the respondent/authority to complete the action against encroachment, whether it be 6th respondent or other respondents, as is apparent from the affidavit filed by the second respondent.

3. The writ petition accordingly stands disposed of, leaving the parties to bear their own costs.

List for compliance on 20.01.2017.

Compliance report be filed at least three days before the next date of hearing with advance copy to the learned counsel for the petitioner.
