Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to demolish the buildings at New No.8, Old No.21, Bakthavatchalam Street, Thiruvalluvar Salai, Teynampet, Chennai -18, pursuant to the impugned notice, dated 27.08.2015, issued by the 2nd respondent. ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents 1 and 2 and the learned counsel for the 3rd respondent.

2. This Writ Petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to demolish the building at New No.8, Old No.21, Bakthavatchalam Street, Thiruvalluvar Salai, Teynampet, Chennai -18, pursuant to the notice, dated 27.08.2015, issued by the 2nd respondent.

3. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondentCorporation submitted that subsequent to the earlier notice dated 27.08.2015, the officials of the respondent-Corporation are receiving complaints from the neighbours and they are now taking follow up action of the said notice.

4. In view of the submission of the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent-Corporation, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to take appropriate action, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
