Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 6 herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.09.2021 to initiate necessary action against the said R.J. Mohammed and Karthik the 7th respondent herein for running and illegal Leather and Rexine Industry without obtaining Licence in the 1st Floor of the premises bearing Door No.3 (Old No.4) formerly, North Boag Road presently known as B.N. Reddy III Lane, T.Nagar, Chennai- 600 017 and seal the premises for their illegal business activities.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction, directing the respondents 1 to 6 herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.09.2021 seeking necessary action against the said R.J. Mohammed and Karthik, viz., the 7th respondent herein, for running illegal Leather and Rexine Industry, without obtaining License, in the 1st Floor of the premises bearing Door No.3 (Old No.4), B.N. Reddy III Lane, T.Nagar, Chennai- 600 017 and seal the premises for their illegal business activities.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

It is seen that the petitioner is the owner of the premises located at Door No.3 (Old No.4), B.N.Reddy III Lane, T.Nagar, Chennai, in which the seventh respondent is the tenant, who is doing leather business. A dispute has risen between the petitioner and the seventh respondent regarding the operation of the leather business, leading to the petitioner seeking the eviction of the seventh respondent from the premises. Therefore, the petitioner lodged a complaint alleging that the seventh respondent is running an illegal leather business in the

first floor of the premises.

4. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that subsequently, the seventh respondent was issued a license and is running the business under a valid license.

5. In view of the above, the representation submitted by the petitioner cannot be considered. Therefore, the writ petition lacks merit and is liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
