Respondent Prayers: The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation 09.08.2013 seeking Legal heir Certificate from the respondent on the demise of the petitioner's father Karuppannasamy @ Karuppanna leaving behind him along with his younger brothers namely K. Pakkirisamy & K.Muthu.

ORDER

The petitioner has come up with the Writ Petition seeking for a direction to the respondent to issue Legal heirs Certificate based on the representation dated 09.08.2013.

2. Heard Mr.K.Madhan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, and Mr.V.Shanmugasundar, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader would submit that for the earlier representation said to have been given on 09.08.2013, the petitioner has not produced any acknowledgment. It is further submitted that if a fresh representation given, the same would be considered in accordance with law.

4. In the light of the above submission and the nature of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits, permits the petitioner to give a fresh representation, enclosing a copy of this order to the respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of the same, the respondent shall consider and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks therefrom. 5.With the above observation and direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
