ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] Seeking a direction to respondents 1 and 2 herein to produce the petitioner's minor daughter namely, Mahalakshmi, aged about 17 years before this Court and to handover her to the petitioner, the present habeas corpus petition has been filed.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that her minor daughter 'x' went missing and the police have not taken any effective steps to secure her.

3. Today, Mr.T.Ravi, Sub-Inspector of Police, Udumalpet Police Station, Tiruppur District is present. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint given by the third respondent, a case in Crime No. 1543 of 2020, Udumalpet Police Station was registered for girl missing. He further submitted that the police secured the detenue and produced her before the Child Welfare Committee, Tiruppur on 24.12.2020 and on the direction of the Child Welfare Committee, Tiruppur, 'x' was kept in Mariyala Home, Thaneerpanthal, Tiruppur and that on 07.01.2021, the custody of 'x' has been handed over by the Child Welfare Committee, Tiruppur to the petitioner.

5. Recording the same, this habeas corpus petition is closed.
