ORDER

With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondent authorities to issue patta for the land inSurvey Nos.141/1C and 141/2B to a total extent of land about 60 cents in Thammapatti Village, Gengavalli Taluk, Salem District by disposing of the petitioner's online application dated 17.09.2020 within such time as may be stipulated by this Court.

3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

4. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner and his brothers are the absolute owners of the subject property to an extent of 60 cents and the same has been allotted to them by way of deed of settlement dated 20.12.2012 executed by his father. The grievance of the petitioner is that though he has 2/4

given an online application for issuance of patta in his favour, the same has not been considered by the respondents till date. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

5. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, the respondents are directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 17.09.2020 and pass appropriate orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
