Respondent Petition filed under Section 11 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, to exercise the jurisdiction conferred under the Act read with Clause 55 of the Agreement dated 26th April, 2012 and appoint an Arbitrator, preferably a retired Judge of this Court, to decide the disputes that have arisen between the petitioners and the respondent out of the agreement.

O R D E R

Learned counsel for the parties jointly agree that an Advocate may be appointed as the Sole Arbitrator to enter upon reference and adjudicate the disputes inter se the parties and that the arbitration proceedings take place under the aegis of the Madras High Court Arbitration Centre.

2.I, thus, appoint Mr.G.Surya Narayanan, Advocate, present in Court, having office at New No.10, Old No.241, 2nd Floor, St. Mary's Road, Mandavali, Near Mosque, Chennai 600 028, Mob.No.: 97909 17003, as the Sole Arbitrator to enter upon the reference and adjudicate the disputes inter se the parties. As requested, the arbitration proceedings will be conducted under the aegis of the Madras High Court Arbitration Centre and the parties will be governed by the Rules of the Centre.

3.The original petition is, accordingly, allowed, leaving the parties to bear their own costs.
