This Criminal Original Petition has been preferred to call for the records relating to the FIR in Cr.No.760 of 2021 on the file of the respondent and quash the same.

2. Heard Mr.T.Muruganantham, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that the investigation in this case has already been completed; the charge sheet has been filed in C.No.2361 of 2022.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the copy application filed by the petitioners before the concerned Court has been returned as charge sheet not filed till 08.12.2021.

5. However, now we are after 9 months. So, it is possible that the charge sheet should have been filed subsequently. Since the return endorsement 2/4

is not pertaining to any recent date, the submission made by the prosecution can be accepted.
