Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.05.2018 and further direct the respondents to measure the petitioner's land in Survey No.62/7, 62 in Ayyappathangal Village, Alandur Taluk, Kancheepuram District and erect boundary stones in his land. By way of filing this writ petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to consider his representation dated 09.05.2018 and further direct them to measure his land in Survey No.62/7, 62 in Ayyappathangal Village, Alandur Taluk, Kancheepuram District and thereby erect boundary stones in his land.

2. The petitioner claims to be the owner of the property covered in Survey No.62/7, 62, in Ayyappathangal Village, Alandur Taluk, Kancheepuram District, having an extent of 968 sq.ft. A patta issued by the Tahsildar, Sriperumbudur, also shows that he is the pattadar of the property in question. Therefore, he has moved an application dated 09.05.2018 before the second respondent requesting to measure his property in question, but, the same has not been considered till date.

3. Mr.I.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader accepting notice for the respondents sought for six weeks time to dispose of his representation dated 09.05.2018.

4. Taking note of the fact that patta issued by the Tahsildar, Sriperumpudur, stands in the name of the petitioner, this Court finds no impediment to direct the respondents 2 to 4 to measure the property in question and do the needful within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, with such direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No Costs.
