This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider the representation dated 18.07.2018 of the petitioner wherein, it is requested to promote him to the post of Technical Assistant or any other appropriate higher post with effect from 2008 and revise the seniority of the petitioner and fix the same on the date of completion of the Diploma Course by the petitioner. 2.A detailed counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the respondents.

Standing counsel for the respondents and perused the material available on record.

4.The learned counsel appearing on either side advanced their arguments in support of their claim basing on their affidavit and counter affidavit. They have raised several legal aspects in their arguments. 5.Considering the relief sought in this Writ Petition, in the opinion of this Court it is not necessary to go into all those aspects at this stage. A very short relief sought in the Writ Petition is to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.07.2018. In view of the same, it is appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law to meet the interest of justice. 6.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation dated 18.07.2018, submitted by the petitioner, in accordance with law, particularly in accordance with the existing Rules and Regulations within a period of eight(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made 3/5

clear that the petitioner is at liberty to submit any further documents in support of his claim, if he is so advised. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
