Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 439 (1) (b) of Cr.P.C. praying to modify the condition order passed in Crl.M.P.No.3974 of 2023 dated on 20.06.2023 on the file of the learned Principal Special Court Judge under EC & NDPS Act, Chennnai.

ORDER

This petition has been filed to modify the condition order passed in Crl.M.P.No.3974 of 2023 dated on 20.06.2023 on the file of the learned Principal Special Court Judge under EC & NDPS Act, Chennai. 1/4

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was granted bail in Crl.M.P.3974 of 2023 on 20.06.2023 by the learned Principal Special Court Judge under EC & NDPS Act, Chennai. While granting bail, the learned Principal Special Court Judge under EC & NDPS Act, Chennai, directed the petitioner to produce two acceptable and reliable sureties. One among them shall be a Government Servant. Petitioner is not able to secure a Government Servant as a surety. 3.Considering the submission of learned counsel for petitioner, this Court modifies the condition imposed by learned Principal Special Court Judge under EC & NDPS Act, Chennai, as follows: "Petitioner shall produce two acceptable and reliable sureties for executing a bond for Rs.10,000/- each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, Tambaram". Other conditions remain same.

4.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed. 14.07.2023 2/4
