The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence under Sections 465, 468, 472, 471 r/w 511 of IPC, in Cr.No.107 of 2024, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused persons have created fake certificates of the Annamalai University and other Universities and seal, attempted to sell the same to third parties. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prayed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

msrm 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the investigation is at initial stage and the custodial interrogation is very much required in this case. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 5.Considering the fact that the petitioner has involved in serious offence and also considering the gravity of offence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6.Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed. 05.06.2024 msrm Crl.O.P.No.15846 of 2024 Page No.2/2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
