ORDER

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

The petitioner claims that the properties admeasuring to an extent of 5 acres and 16 cents *in Survey NO.326 and also landed property admeasuring to an extent of 2 acres and 43 cents in S.No.327 and admeasuring to an extent of 59 cents in S.No.328, admeasuring to a total extent of 8 acres and 18 cents at Settipalli Revenue Village, Kembathahalli Village, Denkanikottai Taluk, Krishnagiri District, originally belonged to Krishna Gowda and he had three legal heirs, viz., Mallappa, Deppaiah and Byrappa and the revenue records in

respect of the said properties stood in the name of his grandmother by name Mallamma, wife of Mallappa, Periya Mallamma and Chinna Mallamma @ Parvathamma [the mother of the petitioner herein]. The said Parvathamma alone is survived. The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that in the patta and other revenue records, the names of the 5th respondent and two other persons have been wrongly included and in this regard, the petitioner has submitted a representation on 25.06.2016 to the 2nd respondent to rectify the said mistake and since no response is forthcoming, the petitioner has come forward to file the present writ petition.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4. Though the petitioner has prayed for a larger relief, this Court, taking into consideration the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the 2nd respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 25.06.2016 on merits and in accordance with law, after putting on notice the 5th respondent and pass orders within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the 5th respondent. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
