2. The case of the petitioner is that the second respondent had called for tenders for the construction of over-head water tank at Bagaveli, Periyar Nagar with a capacity of 30,000 litres by a notification dated 21-05-2015. Accordingly, the petitioner also participated in the tender process and declared as a successful bidder and completed the work within the stipulated time based on the work order dated 07.08.2015. Though the petitioner has completed the construction work, the bills have not been processed by the respondents, therefore he made several representations to the respondents and the same was not considered, hence the petitioner is before this Court.
3. This Court by an earlier order dated 12.12.2020, ordered notice to the respondents and directed the respondents to file counter, if any. But till date no counter has been filed and therefore the learned counsel for the petitioner has confined his prayer for the disposal of the petitioner's representation within the stipulated time. This Court without going into the merits of the case directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.12.2019 and pass suitable orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
