O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the 4th respondent to allot a team of Police Officers to register the complaint, dated 05.02.2019 and to investigate on the same.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has filed a status report, which reads as under:- 7.I submit that eventhough there is no direct transaction or no authentic record in related to the above said Kavitha, my enquiry clearly established the fact of her involvement in this cheating. Further due to the paucity of time, since I have assumed the Charge of Asst.Commissioner of Police, Madipakkam Range only on 07.08.2019, I could not able to secure the above said Arulkumar.

However, efforts are being taken to locate him. After securing him and after subjecting him to enquiry, I will initiate steps to register a case against the above said Arul Kumar and Kavitha under relevant sections of law.

3.Accordingly, this Court directs the 2nd respondent herein to proceed with the complaint lodged by the petitioner and register a case as against the accused persons within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
