ORDER

Seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent police to give police protection to the petitioner based on the complaint dated 25.10.2013, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and I have also perused the records carefully.

3. It is represented that the police conducted an enquiry and found that the petitioner had given cheques to the opposite party which had bounced, pursuant to which, the opposite party has issued notice under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act for prosecuting the petitioner.
