This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to grant permission and police protection to the petitioner for conducting cultural programme (Adal Padal) at Shri Mariamman Thirukoil Thiruvila, Nappirampatti, Uthangarai, Krishnagiri District, on 30.05.2018, by acting on his representation dated 21.05.2018.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing for the respondent.

As the cultural programme for which permission is sought for was scheduled on 30.05.2018, the prayer sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous and hence, this petition is dismissed as infructuous.
