Respondents The writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issue of a writ of mandamus, directing the first and the second respondents to enter petitioner's name, deleting the names of the respondents 3 and 4 in the revenue records, in respect of the lands, situated in Minnal Pirka, Arakkonam Taluk, Vellore District, in S.No.319/8, measuring one acre and 58 cents, (0-64-0), S.No.334, measuring four acres and 27 cents (02-39-05) and S.No.330/2, measuring 29 cents (0-11-05).

ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, as well as the learned counsel, appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2.

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner, praying that this Court may be pleased to issue a Writ of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Mandamus, directing the first and the second respondents to enter the name of the petitioner, by deleting the names of the respondents 3 and 4 in the revenue records, in respect of the lands, situated in Minnal Pirka, Arakkonam Taluk, Vellore District, in S.Nos.319/8, 334 and 330/2.

At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that the petitioner had died, on 25.7.2014, and that the writ petition has abated.

In view of the said submission made by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, the writ petition stands abated. No costs.
