PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.5.2025 by transferring the case in Crime No.220 of 2025 on the file of the third respondent police station to 4th respondent police station. O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.5.2025 by transferring the case in Crime No.220 of 2025 on the file of the third respondent police station to 4th respondent police station.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent- Police and perused the materials available on record.

3. Based on the complaint given by one Srinivasan, a case was

registered by the third respondent Police in Crime No.220 of 2025 on 24.04.2025. The petitioner made a representation dated 12.5.2025 seeking to transfer the case in Crime No.220 of 2025 on the file of the third respondent police station to 4th respondent police station. It is submitted by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent-Police that investigation is pending. On a perusal of the records, it is seen that no grounds are made out by the petitioner for transferring the investigation from the third respondent police station to fourth respondent police station. This Court is not inclined to grant the relief as sought for by the petitioner in this writ petition.
