Respondents Prayer: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents and their subordinates or any other officials tracing power under them from in any way and in any manner interfering or disturbing with the petitioner's peaceful possession, occupation and enjoyment over the premises having an extent of 600 sq.ft. (30x20) comprised in T.S.No.2/2, in Ward 'A' Block19, situated in Salem Town, as lessee, by running the canteen, till the completion of the lease period i.e. up to 17.07.2014.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the writ petitioner expired and the prayer in the writ petition has become infructuous. Learned counsel further submits that he is not pressing the prayer in the writ petition any more. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
