ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for directing the 2nd respondent to grant patta in favour of the petitioner.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioners have submitted a representation on 03.10.2023 to the respondents 1 and 2 to grant patta to the lands in their possession. Since there was inaction on the part of the respondents, this writ petition has been filed. Page 2/4

4. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, this court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 03.10.2023 and pass appropriate orders for issuance patta, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the neighbouring land owners and any other interested persons. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
