O R D E R

This writ petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to assign light duty to the petitioner until his retirement by considering the petitioner's representation dated 23.04.2025, since the petitioner is 75% differently abled person and having 75% disability. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is having disability of 75% and unable to stand or walk. Hence, he has given a representation to the second respondent on 23.04.2025 to allot him a lighter duty. However, such representation is still pending with the second respondent.

3. At this juncture, the learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents fairly submitted that they will consider the representation of the petitioner within a reasonable time.

In view of the above submission of the learned Standing Counsel, without going into merits of the matter, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.04.2025 and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. In the result, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
