The above application is filed to permit the defendants 3,5, 6 and 7 to file a supplemental additional written statement.

2. The cause of action for filing the additional written statement is the marking of Ex.P11 in the connected suit C.S.No.476 of 2008. Ex.P11 is a purported family arrangement (Kudumba Yerpadu) entered into between the parties. The applicant had come across this family arrangement, when the same was exhibited during cross-examination by the sister-in-law, who is the plaintiff in C.S.No.476 of 2008

3. Considering the fact that in the original plaint there is no mention of the family arrangement and the family arrangement has subsequently been marked, a chance must be given to the defendant to put forth her 1/2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis/

defense to the said document. Therefore, the additional written statement is taken on file.

4. The plaintiff seeks time to file a reply to the said additional written statement.

5. Post the matter on 17.02.2021.
