O R D E R

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondents for non-compliance of the order dated 23.07.2024 passed by this Court in W.P.No.10416 of 2024, thereby directing the respondents to frame adhoc rules for the post of Assistant Executive Engineer (Equipment and Maintenance) within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Thereafter, the respondents are directed to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Assistant Executive Engineer, if he is otherwise qualified to the said post. 2.

The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that as directed by this Court, the first respondent passed an order on 07.07.2025 stating that the petitioner herein has been temporarily promoted as Assistant Executive Engineer (Equipment and Maintenance), Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital with effect from 30.06.2025 (Forenoon). He also produced a copy of the order dated 07.07.2025 passed by the second respondent, before this Court. 2/4
