ORDER
By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
2.Mr.r.M.Shajakhan,, Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.
3. The petitioner purchased the property in Survey No.92/2A2 to an extent of 70 cents under the sale deed in D.No.23237/2023 in Kakanur Village. The petitioner found that an error in the FMB sketch, prepared by the 5th respondent. Therefore, the petitioner filed a complaint to the Superintendent of Police, Krishnagiri District and also requested the District Collector, Krishnagiri, to rectify the FMB sketch as per the sale deed and the previous sketch. Thereafter, the revenue authorities corrected the FMB 2 / 5
sketch and the VAO also attested the new FMB sketch in Kakanur Village. The petitioner later submitted a representation on 24.05.2025, to the first respondent seeking cancellation of approval of the lay out plan. Since, there was no response, the petitioner was constrained to file the above writ petition for the above relief.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that even though several grounds were raised in support of the writ petition, he would restrict his prayer for a direction to the first respondent, to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 24.05.2025.
5. Considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court directs the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 24.05.2025, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. However, there shall 3 / 5
be no order as to costs.
