Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to permit the petitioner to admit 15 students at Besant LVR Teacher Training Institution, V.R.Nagar, Kovilpatti, in the 1st year diploma in teacher education course for the academic year 2005-2006 in the lapsed seats and consequently approve their admission for continuance of their study. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous since the students who were admitted during the academic year 20062007 in the lapsed seat were given approval by the Government and they have also written their examination and got their certificates long ago.

2. Recording the above said submission, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
