Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to handover at free of cost to respective departments the buildings / land for use for Police Station, Fire Station, Library, Schools, Community Hall, Clinic, Bus Depot and lands for burial ground, construction of Panchayat Office, construction of ration shops, Adult Play ground etc., in accordance with the resolution passed by the meeting convened by the first respondent on 23.02.2012.

2.The petitioner has filed these writ petitions challenging the notification issued by the second respondent in Tamil Daily Thina Thanthi dated 03.01.2016 calling for application for allotment of 660 flats in Ambattur Scheme Phase I and II and for a direction to the 2/5

respondents to handover at free of cost the respective departments in the buildings / land for use for police station, fire station, library, schools, community hall, clinic, bus depot and lands for burial ground, construction of panchayat office, construction of ration shops, adult play ground etc., in accordance with the resolution passed by the meeting convened by the first respondent on 23.02.2012. 3.It is represented by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that contrary to the resolution passed by the meeting convened by the first respondent on 23.02.2012, the second respondent is trying to alienate the property. Hence, this Court may issue direction to the second respondent to follow the resolution passed by the Tamil Nadu Housing and Urban Development Department, dated 23.02.2012.

4.The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the second respondent submitted that the resolution passed by the Tamil Nadu Housing and Urban Development Department, dated 23.02.2012 will be scrupulously followed and allotment will be made, if not already made.

5.Recording the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the second respondent, these writ petitions stand disposed of. No costs.

Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
