ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The grievance of the petitioner is in relation to the removal of earth/sand from Survey No.4 of Tarappakkam Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram.
2. The status report/affidavit filed by the third respondent i.e., the Executive Engineer, Tamil Nadu Water Resources Department, Thiruvallur states that though orders were issued to remove earth from other places, no person has been permitted by the third respondent to remove the earth/sand in Survey No.4 of Tarappakkam Village.
3. The learned Government Advocate also submitted that no person has been permitted by the third respondent to remove the earth/sand in Survey No.4 of Tarappakkam Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk so far.
4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate and also the averments stated in the status report/affidavit filed by the third respondent, we do not find any reason to keep the writ petition pending.
