O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent-Police to file a final report in Crime No.19 of 2023 pending on the file of the respondent/complainant police within a time limit.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondentPolice and perused the materials available on record.

3. Since no adverse order is being passed as against the second respondent, notice to the second respondent is dispensed with.

4. On a perusal of the records, it is seen that the second respondent herein had already filed a petition in Crl.O.P.No.12389 of 2025 for quashing the case in Crime No.19 of 2023 as against him. This Court vide order dated 28.4.2025 dismissed the petition filed by the second respondent herein and also directed the respondent-Police to complete the investigation within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. It is submitted that period of 12 weeks

granted by this Court is not yet completed. Meanwhile, the petitioner has also filed this criminal original petition seeking a direction to the respondent Police to file a final report in Crime No.19 of 2023. This is nothing but abuse of process of law. However, the respondent-Police is directed to comply the abovesaid order of this Court dated 28.4.2025 passed in Crl.O.P.No.12389 of 2025.

5. With the abovesaid direction, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
