Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the representations dated 27.11.2017 and 16.12.2017 and pass suitable orders in accordance to law within a time frame as fixed by this Hon'ble Court. ORDER

The petitioner is the grandson of the fourth respondent, who has acquired the land by way of partition in the year 2004. It is the claim of the petitioner that in the partition, the land along with the common electricity connection was also allotted to him and others. While so, his grandfather, the fourth respondent herein has used the common electricity connection No.670 and illegally drained water from Amaravathi river. has been opposed and not paid any heed, he has made a complaint intimating the illegal activities of the fourth respondent on 27.11.2017. Although the said complaint was received, till date, no action is taken. Therefore, a reminder also has been given on 16.12.2017. Hence a direction be issued.

2. The learned standing counsel for the respondents 1 to 3 sought time to consider the petitioner's representation on merits.

3. This Court hereby directs the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after hearing the fourth respondent, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
