ORDER

This miscellaneous petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking an extension of time to comply with condition No. 5(i) of the order passed by this Court dated 07.04.2026, whereby the petitioner was directed to deposit 50% of

the total cheque amount to the credit of S.T.C. No. 576 of 2019 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No. 1, Thirupathur. 2.Mr. R.N. Amarnath, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, submits that the total cheque amount involved in this matter is Rs. 20,00,000/- (Rupees Twenty Lakhs only). He further states that due to sudden financial crises and a subsequent delay in obtaining the certified copy of the order, the petitioner was unable to comply with the deposit condition within the stipulated period, and therefore prays for a reasonable extension of time to bring in the text amount.

3.Mr. R. Vivekanandan, learned counsel, has entered appearance on behalf of the respondent and submits that the respondent is a senior citizen who is currently suffering from various age-related diseases and ailments, thereby requiring an early resolution and compliance. 4.Considering the requests made by the learned counsel on both sides and taking note of the facts and circumstances, this Court is inclined to grant a final opportunity to the petitioner. Accordingly, the petitioner is granted 10 days and no further time to make full compliance with the order dated 07.04.2026. The petitioner is strictly directed to bring a Demand Draft for a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Lakhs only), representing 50% of the cheque

amount, drawn in the name of the respondent, Mr. Rajendira Prabhu, on the next date fixed.

5. Accordingly the present Criminal Miscellaneous Petition stands allowed.

6.List the Criminal Revision Case under the caption "For Orders" on 29.06.2026.
