The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 30.04.2024 for the alleged offences punishable under Section 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(A), 22(b), 29(1) of NDPS Act, 1985 r/w Sec.77 of JJ Act, 2015, in Crime No.344 of 2024 on the file of the respondent Police, seeks bail.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioner is in custody from 30.04.2024 and he is also ready to abide by any stringent conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prayed to grant bail to the petitioner.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police raised objection stating that there are totally four accused in this case and the petitioner is ranked as A3. He further submitted that the petitioner along with other accused was found in illegal possession of 250 grams of ganja and 10 milligram of Methamphetamine. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of this case and the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) that the goondas proposal is also pending against the petitioner and also considering the antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
