The Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for willful disobedience of the order of this Court in Crl.O.P.No.19915 of 2023 dated 31.08.2023.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the 1/3

learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent submitted an affidavit filed by the respondent and the relevant paragraph is extracted hereunder:

"11.It is submitted that based on the above order, after completion of investigation, I has altered the section of this case into U/s.380, 411 IPC and I have filed the charge sheet vide E-filing No.LTN20220002597C202400460 on 31.07.2024 against the accused persons A1 to A4 on 31.07.2024 before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Thiruvallur and the same was yet to be taken on file. "

3.It is clear from the above that the investigation has been completed and final report has also been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Thiruvallur, on 31.07.2024.

4.This Contempt Petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Thiruvallur, to act upon the final report filed by the respondent in Crime No.385 of 2022 on 31.07.2024 within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 12.08.2024 krk Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No 2/3
