ORDER

This writ petition is filed for a direction, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to dispose of the petitioner representation dated 08.01.2024 by cancelling the patta no.4108 issued to respondents 4 to 8 and issue fresh patta to the petitioner after verifying all the documents presented by the petitioner with respect to the lands of the petitioner situated at Bagepallai Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District measuring an extent of 0.37 cents in survey No.530/1 which was registered as document No.2957 of 1966 dated 03.10.1966.

2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal in the admission stage itself. Since, no adverse order is passed against the private respondents, notice to them is dispensed with.

4. The petitioner submitted a representation on 08.01.2024 seeking for cancellation of patta issued in favour of the private respondents on the ground that during the UDR scheme, patta was wrongly issued to them, which is pending without consideration. Hence, this writ petition. 2/4

5. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, the respondents 1 to 3 are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.01.2024 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the respondents 4 to 8 and any other interested persons. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
