No.167/2 situated at Pattanur Village, Vaanur Taluk, Villupuram District.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representation dated 08.07.2021 before providing electricity service connection in the name of the respondents 3 and 4 or any other person with respect to the property measuring an extent of 0.30 cents comprised in S.No.167/2 situated at Pattanur Village, Vaanur Taluk, Villupuram District.

2. While pending writ petition, electricity service connection was provided in favour of the respondents 3 & 4.

3. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the electricity service connection was obtained on the strength of the settlement deed in favour of the 3rd respondent. The said settlement deed was canceled by the authorities concerned.

4. Therefore, the petitioner is at liberty to submit a fresh representation as against the authorities concerned for appropriate relief in the manner known to law.

5. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
